Ahrar Sepahan officially initiated its office in Dubai, U.A.E and warehouse in Sharjah, U.A.E on July 01, 2003. The core business of this organization is that of natural stones such as Granite, Marbles and Travertine and mineral products like Calcium Carbonate, Silica Sand, Talc and so forth. The warehouse is located in the Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah, U.A.E. Blocks, slabs, and tiles of Granite, Marble, Travertine, and Onyx are imported from Iran, Italy, Spain, Turkey and other countries and transported to this warehouse from which all national and international sales are performed.

Ahrar Sepahan is not a new entrant into the mining industry though.

The Ahrar Sepahan Company, an Iranian organization, was established in 1991in the province of Esfahan. It is the mother organization that nurtures a group of companies. These businesses operate in various industries including all industry and mining affairs, production and conversion of agricultural services, farming industries, railways and building contractors, and general trading activities. Ahrar Sepahan owns hotels, a cheese manufacturing factory, dried fruits processing unit, freezing factory and a mining organization. The largest of these units is the mining sector which deals in natural stones and minerals. Ahrar Sepahan's mining organization owns 10 quarries (most located around Esfahan); 4 Granite quarries, 4 Marble quarries, 1 Travertine quarry, and 1 Kaolin mineral quarry.

Ahrar Sepahan's mining sector has branch offices in Tehran, Iran in addition to its U.A.E quarters. Furthermore, it has processing units located in Esfahan, Iran. These include two stone cutting units and one stone line dedicated to the production of tiles and slabs solely for export.

The word Ahrar stands for freed-men and Sepahan is the ancient name of a 2500 old Iranian city, Esfahan. The name Sepahan was used when Esfahan, Sepahan, was the capital of Iran between the years 1598 till 1722. Overall, the name Ahrar Sepahan means freed-men of Esfahan. Thus, as the name suggests, this organization was initiated by 4,500 freed Iranian soldiers who came back to their beautiful home, Esfahan, after the Iran-Iraq war. As a result, all shareholders and members of the board of directors consist of freed-men.
